Honesty First excellent broker to work with

Honesty first was an excellent transport broker to work with for our move from Raleigh, NC to Pasadena, CA. We had originally gone with Auto Transport Direct, but after 15 day from the original availability date, they had not arranged pickup of the car. We switched to Honesty First and immediately noticed a difference in the way we were treated. They were up front with the whole process and gave much more informative input in helping us get our car shipped out. Honesty First took $50 less for the brokerage fee than Auto Transport Direct ($125 vs. $175) which means more of our money goes to the driver = faster pickup. Had a much better experience with Honesty First than Auto Transport Direct.

The shipping company (CAA Transport) that we were assigned, though, was much less helpful and was downright rude when I called about updates about my car's delivery. CAA was very unclear with their delivery date and basically had me waiting over the phone for a delivery call over a 5 day period. I would recommend requesting Honesty First to arrange a different transporter.

Mike and Honesty First did a good job of trying to get more info for me from CAA, but apparently, they gave him very unclear timeframes as well.

Overall a great experience from Honesty First, just not so great with CAA.
