The trucker selected was communicative, quick, and nice to meet in person. Before hand, Shipacardirect was frecuently communicative and good at reassuring me it would all work out. Perhaps in the stress of moving, I did miss understandings that, perhaps though, could have been emphasized more by Shipacardirect. In my case, I might have picked an earlier date to leave my car with a friend, because I didn't realize it wasn't unlikely that a trucker would be not be found for my wished for date. I also didn't understand that it's not uncommon for that date to pass with still no takers. We did get one a couple days later though! And our trucker then got my car cross country in a week! I also had not retained the fact that the Shipacardirect fee ($250) was not part of the quote. So maybe in the email communications I would reference it each time the quote is mentioned (or somehow else made more prominent). The allowance to ship some stuff inside the car was great, and my trucker never made any mention of it. I had worried they might be exact about the 100lb limit, so I'm glad in the end I didn't throw away a mattress topper that maybe pushed me close to that weight! Me and my car are happy on this end!
