Overall, ship a car direct was pretty good. The price they quoted me didn't end up being too far off from the total (I ended up paying about $150 more), and they were quite responsive! I didn't get quite as many updates from the carrier as I expected from the conversation with the Ship a car direct representative, so that was surprising, and the carrier did have to delay pick up by a day. But, my car did arrive at the end destination on time and in good condition, so overall they were pretty good.
