This was the first time I looked into shipping a car. I researched many companies and read many reviews. The reviews and customer service with Ship a Car Direct really don't lie- they followed through on everything they promised. The representative assigned to my account was friendly and very helpful with any questions or concerns. She stayed in contact with me from start to finish. My vehicle arrived without any issues. The estimated cost given to me before booking was exactly what I ended up being charged. The only thing that caught me off guard was that within 5 minutes of my broker sending me a message that they found a carrier for my vehicle, I received a call from the carrier saying they were 15 minutes from my house. I was happy how quickly they found a carrier, but I expected at least an hour heads up from when the carrier would be arriving. I recommended to plan ahead to always have someone at your pick-up and drop-off location.
