Ship A Car Direct exceeded my expectations. And now I’m embarrassed that they were actually my second choice. I googled car shipment quotes and was bombarded by companies calling and emailing to get my business. Lots of companies contacted me before Ship A Car Direct did. And many of them seemed shady. But one of those companies seemed decent. Until I discovered that they were being dishonest. They said they had an A rating with the Better Business Bureau. They did not. And they had terrible reviews. They said their price was low. When I pressed them to confirm that the quote was total and final, they then said I should expect for the total cost to increase by as much as $300 more than the quote.
I should have stopped and moved on but the sales person was super nice and it instead took more red flags for my family to make the rational decision and go with another company.
Relieved to say that we went with Ship A Car Direct. They did what they said they would. They had great reviews on BBB website and I plan to add another great review.
Their process was straightforward and survived scrutiny. Their app to examine my vehicle before and after delivery helped me feel secure that my vehicle was protected.
The drivers picked up and dropped off my car within the time frame they gave.
The entire process from start to finish was A+.
The only thing I didn’t like was ... my car now smells like diesel fumes ... or like a busy car repair shop. I may have shampoo the insides because 4 days later the smell is still overwhelming. Maybe I should have changed the vents before my car was picked up to circulate air from inside of the car instead of from outside.
Nonetheless, I give Ship A Car Direct 5 stars. And they will be my first choice in the future and the only choice I give to friends and family looking to ship their car.
