Wade was my contact at Ship a Car Direct. He was always available for my questions, even when I sent questions at non-work days and hours (week day late nights or weekends). I really appreciate his outstanding service. When the carrier contacted him for the potential shipment, the price was $100 above the quoted price. The original quote was $250 broker fee plus $800 carrier fee, for a total of $1,050. Since the carrier requested $900 for transporting the vehicle, I was looking at a total of $1,150. Without asking me, Wade refunded $50 of the broker fee so I was only paying $50 more than the quoted price. At the time I wanted to move the vehicle immediately so I did not wait for other carriers' quotes before accepting this carrier (UZ Auto Trans INC) offer. When looking at the cost of moving a vehicle for 2000 miles, the average was around $1,100 to $1,300. I feel I still go a pretty good deal at $1,150. The driver from UZ Auto Trans INC, Rasheed, was also phenomenal. He was able to drive his 61 feet trailer in and out of our apartment complex without much trouble and he delivered my vehicle on time. I would work with Ship a Car Direct again for my future vehicle moves. It is a great company!
