Having never shipped a car before, I was inundated by specious claims made by numerous broker websites about how much quicker or cheaper they would be to ship my vehicle. Fortunately, I took the time to learn a little more about the industry to put some truth behind these "claims." Ship a Car Direct did not make unsupported claims about their service (unlike many of the others whose claims clearly did not align with the auto transport industry or the nature of a "broker"). Their website offered helpful information and videos about what to expect and how the process worked. Once my order was placed, there was a continuous flow of communication keeping me updated about the status of my order and answering any questions that I had.
One of the best things about Ship a Car Direct (unlike many of their competitors) was that they did not charge me ANYTHING until they had secured a carrier to transport my vehicle from Texas to Minnesota. As I was transporting a convertible, I had a few special requests regarding the timing and loading of the vehicle. They were able to assist in conveying these requests and secured a carrier within a few days of placing my order.
My vehicle was picked up in Texas on a Monday and delivered in Minnesota the next day (which was a day earlier than quoted) with no damage or any other issue. The final price was exactly as initially quoted.
I had never shipped a car before, but Ship a Car Direct made the process simple, direct and stress-free.
