Overall I was fairly pleased with my Ship-A-Car Direct experience. The actual loading/transport and delivery were fine. What prevented me from giving a five star rating are some logistical things that bothered me. While I understand that the nature of this business is very last-minute, waiting to find out when my car was going to be picked up until two hours before they arrived was a bit stressful for me: I'm too much of a planner and I was not in my home city and had a flight to catch the day the car was picked up. Also, I stated from the get-go that I needed to pay by credit card, and was told there would be no problem. The man who delivered my car couldn't take a credit card; we resolved it rather quickly through PayPal, but again, logistical snafus. Other than that, Matt was extremely responsive and helpful via both e-mail and phone; I think he was jyst at the mercy of third parties that weren't as responsive as him.
