I purchased a car out of state for the first time, and after reading reviews about shipping companies I was very nervous about hiring a shipper (to the point of contemplating flying out and driving the car cross country). I did a lot of research on this site, Yelp, and BBB, and shipacardirect felt like the safest bet to me (even they have bad reviews though). Matt was friendly over the phone and tried to put my mind at ease, saying they do this every day. I knew the actual carrier selected makes a huge difference, and he said they carefully screen. So I went ahead with the booking, and maybe I just got really lucky, but everything went as smooth as can be. They assigned a carrier the same day (DIL trucking...whim I was extremely happy with). I got a number of follow up phone calls, emails, and txt messages about status. And I got the carrier’s direct phone number. And the carrier gave me the driver’s cell number! So I was in communication with the driver during the trip. Overall I am very happy and would recommend this company.
