I'd never shipped a car before and thought it would be a lot more difficult than it turned out to be. I started out checking company reviews online and narrowed it down to three companies with good reviews. I first contacted the company that offered me the cheapest quote but they never called me back nor returned my emails and I decided I needed a company with good customer service even if it cost a little more. Ship A Car Direct seemed to have great customer service and their price seemed fair. I was shipping my car from California to Maine and they said it could take awhile to find a carrier to go there which wasn't a problem because I had some flexibility, but to my surprise they had a carrier lined up for me in just a few days. The carrier was very personable and professional and experienced and his truck was obviously very well maintained so I felt very comfortable as it pulled away with my car on it. Ship A Car Direct checked in with me often so I felt well supported through every step in the process, so even though it cost a little more it was well worth it for the great customer service. My car arrived in perfect shape. I would not hesitate to do this again. The process was really much simpler than I realized and I am very pleased with this company.
