Buying a truck from dealership 2000 miles away

I bought a 2017 Ford F150 Lariat Truck from Autotrader website from a Ford dealership that is located in North Carolina and need to ship it all the way to Las Vegas, NV.
The process of making the appointment was easy on the ship a car direct website.
David kept me inform through emails on each steps and once He found the carrier that will transport the truck, He also coordinated the pick up time between the driver and the sales rep. at the dealership.
On the day of the delivery, the driver called me up and apologized before hand of the damaged that he caused on the passenger mirror. He hit the mirror on the process of reloading the truck to the semi. Hey, things happened sometimes so I understand. He called around local Ford dealership and got the quote on the replacement mirror. He even followed me to a nearby Ford dealership to order the mirror and He paid for the mirror replacement out of his own pocket.
In the end I got my truck and all is good. I am happy with it, and will use this service in the future again.
