I moved from the west coast (Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area) to Florida and shipped my 2 cars with Ship A Car Direct and my household stuff with a national moving company. I booked an Enterprise rental car at the weekly rate for two weeks in Florida thinking that that the moving van camp and the cars would conceivably take the same amount of time. The team that Ship A Car Direct found to haul my 2 cars got my cars to my new place in Florida three days after I flew there. Timeline is they picked up my cars Thursday Nov 30th. The next day (Friday 12/1) the moving van company I hired came and loaded up my house stuff. Then I flew out from San Jose on 12/2, Saturday to Florida. My cars were delivered on Tuesday 12/5. (As I write this, it is 12/10 and the moving van I hired still has not arrived.) But I have my two cars! i returned the rental car over a week early. I am stoked. Ship A Car Direct did a very good job - I researched different haulers and chose these guys because (1) they have a several-year track record, ie. you can look at their operating history and see they've done pretty well over a long period of time - and (2) they have a great rating with BBB (Better Business Bureau).
