I have bought/sold/shipped numerous cars for close to 2 decades. I have always paid extra for enclosed carrier transport with directly accountable shipping companies but the past few years their premiums have increased beyond reason. For this shipment I was transporting a large 1965 Plymouth Fury III Station Wagon from polar opposite ends of the country (CA to NH) and shipping quotes were coming in at over 50% of the vehicle's value! I found ShipACarDirect after many hours researching online and I decided to give their brokerage service a try. The quote I received was several hundred dollars lower than any quotes I had received, they booked the shipment within an hour and I had my vehicle 7 days later. It was excellent. The only hiccup I ran into was on delivery day the driver said he'd be there around noontime so I took a vacation day from work- then as time progressed he delayed his arrival time until 9pm at night the same day. We did everything in the dark and I burned a vacation day but I DID get my vehicle and I couldn't be happier. Thank you!
