Just shipped two cars from Texas to Virginia. A little nerve-wracking not confirming the actual carrier until 2 days before pickup. Also did not like that the quoted could be increased by the carrier company. But in our case, when we did hear from Auto Direct 1 day before scheduled pickup, the new quote offer was $25. This was ok and we readily agreed, but I don't really understand why this can't be locked in when you book. needless worry. Driver called one day ahead of scheduled pickup to see if he could pick up my cars 1 day early. Very short warning, but ok with us. Cars arrived 2 1/2 days later.No issues during transport.
