Shipped SUV from Naples, Florida to Lake Barrington, Illinois in mid-May 2017. I was notified by email from the transport company of the driver and pick up date. Never did receive a call from Ship Direct. Not sure if this is proper protocol or not. Then I received a call the evening prior to pick up date from another driver. He notified me he was the new driver. He said car would be picked up by 8 am. Showed up only 30 minutes late. Not bad. First driver gave me same pick up date as second driver. First driver said car would be delivered the following Monday or Tuesday. Second driver said car would be delivered by mid-afternoon Saturday. Car was delivered by 2 pm Saturday afternoon. Car was dirty, however, driver went through bad weather enroute north. No scratches or damages. Very pleased. I did receive a call from Ship Direct three days after my car was delivered. Not sure if the transport company ever notified Ship Direct of the driver change and expedited delivery date.
