Ship a Car Direct, the carrier (Expresslane Transportation LLC), and the truck driver all provided great service which made for an easy/stress-free experience. David at Ship a Car Direct was prompt, timely, and knowledgeable, making it extremely easy to arrange my car shipment. The carrier and the driver were also very flexible and generally communicated often (with one exception: at the origin, there was some miscommunication/misunderstanding on the timeframe for the pickup, which led to us thinking the driver would arrive around 4 pm and several hours of waiting and no contact, whereas they were thinking any time after 4 pm was good and they arrived around 8 pm/close to 9 pm). Overall, I am extremely pleased, especially considering an earlier than expected delivery and the driver accomodating my needs as well (I had a rental car and he followed me to the rental car return so I could turn it in and then I simply drove back with my car instead of getting someone else to drive or catching a taxi). While carriers and drivers will undoubtedly be different for each move, Ship a Car Direct makes assurances that it chooses trustworthy and reliable ones, and it worked out it my case. I will definitely use them again for any future car shipping needs. Disclosure: they are offering me a rebate to post a review, BUT not what's in it...I stand by what I said in my review- they are a reliable company.
