After researching shippers I contacted Ship-A-Car Direct and they promptly e-mailed/called about a quote. I spoke with Matt, and a few days later placed the order to ship my car from Long Island to Austin. Now I wasn't in rush so I told Matt that as soon as he can get it here would be fine. It was during the holidays so it did end up taking almost a couple weeks before the car was actually picked up, but again, I wasn't really concerned. Matt kept in contact with me the whole time. Would it have been nice for the car to be picked up quicker? Sure. But it wasn't a priority for me. My concern was the car getting here safe and sound and that's what happened. When the car was finally picked up, they told me when it would arrive (best estimate) and they did arrive on the day they said. More importantly the car was in the same condition it was picked up in.
