This is my first time using Ship A Car Direct and any car moving company. They received great reviews online so I decided to try them out with our move from San Diego to Austin with two cars. Shop A Car Direct delivered! Our cars were delivered a day before our first day of work as we had requested. They never guaranteed a date, only that they would try to get us the cars at our requested date. They had the best prices and the best customer service from all the companies I contacted. They provided a lot of information upfront during the first phone call. Emily at the home office provided a lot of information and answered a lot of my questions on the phone and through email. Since this was my first time using a car moving company, I had a lot of questions. The only thing I would caution for any first time users is that they don't give you a pick up date until 24-48 hours prior to arriving since the moving company will have a better understanding of the schedule with cars being shipped in the region. I spoke to Emily about this and she made me feel better by stating that this is standard practice. I like to plan ahead but understood that that's how they schedule pick-ups. I would recommend Ship A Car Direct to anyone looking for a car moving company!

Thanks for the great recommendation, Juan! It's true, we can't guarantee dates for anyone (even planners!) but we do try to find the best schedule match from our pool of stellar carriers!
