I had an great experience with Ship-A-Car-Direct. This was my second time moving across the country, but first time handling the move myself. After seeing bad review after bad review of auto transport companies, I came across glowing reviews for Ship-A-Car-Direct on Yelp, BBB, Transport Reviews, and elsewhere, so I decided to give them a try. They made it clear that they are not the actual carrier company, but set you up with one of their pre-approved carriers (mine was Ace Auto Trans), as well as provide insurance and a single point-of-contact for the entire process. Even if you don't decide to use Ship-A-Car-Direct, do check out their FAQ videos - they're very down-to-earth and helpful in explaining the entire auto shipping process. I wish there was a similar company for moving all my household goods! By the way, the compensation provided is a $30 rebate for writing a review, but I'd be happy to review even without the rebate!
