My experience was better than I expected overall, considering how many negative reviews I read when initially researching how to have my car moved. I chose Ship A Car Direct since it had only a couple negative reviews, compared to pretty much every other company all of whom had mostly negative reviews. Gaby was good at maintaining communication, as was the driver, Jonathon. My car arrived earlier than expected (yay!), and the driver offered me $10 cash so I could wash my car since it had gotten dirty en-route, which I appreciated.

I only have two complaints. One is that I only had about 5 hours notice before the driver arrived, and that was directly from the driver; I had expected more notice (like 12-24 hours) and that it would be from Gaby. I also don't think the total cost was clearly stated. Ship A Car Direct offers a $30 rebate, and I didn't know that the final cost given already included the rebate.

Thanks for your feedback, Jennifer! Yes, we do put you in touch with the driver directly after dispatch. While we do give you the carrier's estimates, they can fluctuate while the driver is en route. Because the driver has the most up-to-date info, he will call you directly (rather than calling us to call you.)
