Awesome, easy experience

We were nervous about undertaking this shipment over the internet. My wife and I had read plenty of horror stories regarding car transportation and the one we were entrusting the company with is a 1976 Triumph Spitfire and has been in my family for 20 years. The fact that the car was not in operating condition was not a problem and both the pick-up driver and drop-off driver were very accomodating (the trucking company was Alpha Trucking). Tom from Ship a Car Direct was fantastick! He was knowledgable, patient, and answered all of my wife's questions without making her feel rushed or ignorant, and followed up with us during the shipment and afterward (customer service was top-notch). Originally, my wife had hired a different company that was going to charge us over $2600 and the driver was being flakey about pick-up dates and times. Thankfully, we decided to use a different company, did some research, and found Ship a Car Direct. I read a good chunk of reviews and appreciated the owner taking the time to address negative reviews with honesty and with a strong emphasis on customer service. I especially like that Ship a Car Direct holds the companies they hire accountable for poor service. I will definitely use this company again. A big thanks, again, to Tom and the rest of the crew for making this an awesome, easy experience.
