My overall experience with Ship a car direct was great, this was the my first time using this kind of service, I'm glad I took my time to research before I hired somebody. The car was picked up on time but I wasn't given an estimated arrival time until the day of delivery, I'm not sure if that is the norm I guess it depends on the carrier you are assigned. My car had some luggage and though I was told that I would be up charged for that I was happy to find out that it could be transported. I think the price was fair, $700 initially and $100 more for the extra weight added by the luggage. Altogether I spent around the amount of money that I would have spent in expenses (plane tickets, gas money, hotel charges, food ect.) without having to take time off from work and most importantly I avoided all the stress and hassle of having to go all the way to Texas and drive back to North Carolina myself. I'm very happy with the way things went and I would definitely recommend Ship a car direct to a friend or use their services myself again in the future.
