Overall I had a great experience using Ship A Car Direct. I knew very little about the auto transport business when I looked into shipping my car, but the representative walked me through each step and explained what to expect. I wanted my car in South Carolina by a certain date to avoid having to rent a car too long, so I was a little nervous when the actual pick up date was later than what I was hoping for, but it made no difference as my car was delivered on time. I later learned that arranging a carrier to ship your car to a certain destination is no easy task as the actual carriers are smaller and need full trucks in order to make money on each shipment. So my only advice would to to try to book as far in advance as possible, but Ship A Car Direct proved that it can be done with as little as 2-weeks of lead time. Great experience working with them.
