After some thoughtful research I decided to use Ship a car direct as the broker. I worked solely with Tom. He was communicative and helpful in answering all my questions. My car was outsourced to CAA transport (los angeles company). Was told car would be picked up Thursday July 17th but CAA picked up Friday July 18. Car was quoted to be delivered July 27th but it was delivered on Monday 28th. One-day delays were not a big deal to me. My car arrived in same condition. Paid truck driver with a cashier check. Later that night truck driver called me at midnight (not cool) and told me he lost the cashier check I gave him. The next morning, before I put a stop on the check, I called CAA to inquire what happened and was told that the truck driver “found” the check. Umm why didn’t he call me to let me know! Disaster of a morning for no reason. Conclusion, good experience with broker but definitely check out the company that they choose to outsource to.

Thank you for your honest feedback, Min! So sorry for the inconvenience around the check. We agree, calling at midnight is not cool. We followed up with CAA about that.
