I researched possible companies on the internet and received quotes from three different car shipping companies. Ship a Car Direct gave a very competitive bid and their representative was very helpful and informative. Out of the three companies contacted, the Ship a Car Direct representative was the only one who followed up to find out if I had questions or concerns. The deposit was easily accomplished and the instructions for the payment on delivery were clear and easily followed. The carrier picked up the car on the day we asked which was the Friday before a holiday weekend. Because the pick up was in an area where the streets were very narrow, the carrier parked and walked to pick up the car and drove it out to his truck. Because the person receiving the car wanted delivery to a dealership and it was a holiday weekend, there was a delay in delivery but it was caused by circumstances beyond the control of the carrier. The person receiving the automobile was very pleased with the condition of the car on delivery. She reported that the carrier was a very nice young man who kept in touch with her during the journey to let her know where he was each day it took. I was pleased by the efforts of the coordinator and the carrier and would certainly use Ship a car direct again.
