I was impressed with Ship A Car Direct. They are a broker so they have contact with numerous shipping companies. They will do the leg work for you. They were able to contract a shipping company, FHT Auto Transport, 3 days after I called. The price was also very reasonable and was one of the lowest quote that I received. Amanda, the representative from Ship A Car Direct, responded to my questions promptly via email or phone. Please note that when you do receive your car, it will be extremely dirty especially when it's transported "open". Therefore, be sure you have a rag to clean up the car before you sign and give the funds to the driver. Otherwise, you won't have a case to file in case of any damage. In my experience, I had a minor damage during the transport in which a rock hit the hood at high speed. From certain angle, you can see the small dent (about half an inch in width). However, since I sign and accepted the car without noting the minor damage, I have no claim against FHT Auto Transport. Again, the dent is minor that it's not noticeable with the dirt when the vehicle was delivered. That's why it's better to wipe off the dirt with a rag and do a thorough inspection. Otherwise, you won't have a case against the shipping company (not the broker). I'm happy with the broker, Ship A Car Direct, but not so much with the shipping company. I guess we all have to abide by the rules. It states in the contract. Anyway, Amanda did check with me to ensure if I received the car on time. There was several days delay in delivery because of the weather. In summary, I do recommend Ship A Car Direct.
