Ship a Car Direct

When I realized I was going to have to ship a car across the country, I was very nervous, because I had had a bad experience shipping my household belongings when I moved here. There is a great deal of corruption and dishonesty in the home moving industry, due in part to the broker/3rd party shipper model they work under, so when I realized the auto moving industry worked on very much the same model, I braced myself for the worst.
I did, in fact, call a few companies that gave me the feeling they weren't truatworthy, but when I called and spoke to Jason at Ship a Car Direct, I was surprised that I didn't feel that way at all. I even asked him some very direct questions about the potential for corruption, and his answers felt completely genuine and not sugar coated.
One thing that was especially unique was that rather than just giving me a quote, he explained in detail how the process works and how they come up with a price, and without getting into too much detail here, it turned out there was some flexibility in the pricing, if I was willing to allow for certain potential down sides, like the overall shipping time, for example. Nobody else I'd spoken to had even touched on this point with me, and I appreciated that so much. Ask him about it if you want more details...
When it came to the actual shipping, Jason knew that the timing was the most important factor for me, and he had it arranged with a shipper within minutes - and within an hour or two of that, the shipper was contacting me to make specific arrangements. And I want to point out that this was even before I'd paid the required deposit to Ship a Car. In other words, I was able to a) know exactly who the actual 3rd party shipping company was, and b) speak to the actual employees of *that* company to get a sense for if I trusted them as well, before I'd paid anyone a dime. If you've begun your search already, then you already know, that is a very rare luxury.
And the car was here in 4 days, when the estimate given was 7 to 10!
The bottom line is I would recommend them to anyone. I am very appreciative that they made this potentially miserable experience, which I was fully expecting to hate, very painless and positive.
