Purchased the truck on Ebay and needed it shipped from California to Louisiana. Started by getting in touch with some of the companies that were quoted on the Ebay sell ad. Most of the ones that I contacted were actually higher than what was quoted on Ebay, so I started doing some research. The Quotes that I had were for open carrier and were in the range of $1200 to $1500. I had one quote for enclosed carrier at $2000 and would be a three week waiting period.
I called Ship A Car Direct and received a quote for $1525 and the truck was on its way to Louisiana in 3 days. The carrier that was assigned was Royal Auto Carrier LLC. I was furnished with their information including contacts and insurance. The truck was picked up at the sellers home and delivered to mine... door to door 4 days later. My little Chevy rode over with a Viper, a 56 Corvette, a couple of exotics and... a Kia! Safe and sound, no open carrier road grime and the peace of mind that it was being delivered in an enclosed carrier for just a few hundred dollars more. Couldn't have gone any smoother!
