When I initially started my search I was confused and at one point had made up my mind to actually drive the car to the delivery destination myself. I called Safe-Direct and spoke with Rodney who immediately make me feel comfortable about the entire process. Rodney explained the process from start to end at which point I decided to use their (Safe-Direct) services.Fast forward to the pick-up date...the driver, whom I was given his direct line 3 days prior, arrived on time and loaded the car for "take-off". An estimated delivery date (remember this is not making a reservation w/South West) was given, as well as the tel # of the driver who would be delivering the car to New Orleans. I call the "long-haul" driver 3 days later (he was in Arizona) who indicated he would be in New Orleans in 2 days, and that he would contact my son the day of delivery to coordinate a drop-off location. Fast forward x2 days...the driver contacts my son in New Orleans and they agree on a drop off point. To be honest, the driver specified the drop off location, which by the way was only ten minutes from my sons house. My son hands the driver a money order and off they both go w/o incident. My son and I were to say the least impressed and satisfied. Good luck.
