Great experience overall with no hassle

I was very nervous about sending my vehicle from Virginia to Texas using an auto transport service. Most of the reviews are negative and scary, and will definitively discourage you. However, I did my research and the place to start is bbb.org. Safe-Direct Car Shipping (SDCS) is registered with bbb and also there are reviews in Yelp. The fact that SDCS is registered with bbb gave me some comfort however I was still doubtful. Finally I decided to talk to Rodney, he was very helpful, kind, and never pushy. He told me how the process works. Within 3 days SDCS found a carrier and Rodney gave me their contact information and the carrier’s insurance documents. With the DOT number Rodney gave I verified the paperwork he sent me; anyone can review the carrier’s insurance documents here:

SDCS allows you to research your carrier before you pay their deposit; SDCS NEVER asked for any money upfront. The only time I was asked to pay was after my carrier was assigned and allowing me ample time to review the assigned carrier. Their online payment link was easy to use and safe. My carrier was JPF Trucking Inc. from Pennsylvania and the contact person is Zafar. At the beginning was hard to understand him over the phone, but he is very nice and patient; Zafar was available over the phone every time I called him. He scheduled the pickup and the driver (Abror) met me at a shopping center close to my apartment. Abror and I checked my vehicle and all the details were entered in the Bill of Lading (very important document). Abror loaded my Jeep onto the carrier and he did awesome job. It is NOT an easy task getting a standard Jeep with mud tires onto a carrier several feet off the ground. You definitively need driving skill to do this kind of work!

After 3 days in transit Abror called me to notify me (with ample time in advance) he was close to the drop off location. A friend of mine (included in the Bill of Lading) received my vehicle, and at that point JPF Trucking Inc. got paid for the remainder of the balance (total cost of shipping). My vehicle arrived in perfect conditions and no problems whatsoever.

In conclusion, my experience with SCDS and JPF Trucking Inc. was very good and I will definitively recommend them. Other companies were cheaper but I am not sure if they can beat the quality customer service and good work SCDS and JPF Trucking Inc. gave me.
