This was my first experience with auto transportation. I evaluated many brokers, and eventually chose Safe-Direct partly due to the on-line videos which explained the process. David quoted $1225 for transporting my Mazda 6 wagon from NJ to Orange county, CA. Within one day of placing the order, my car was assigned to a carrier. David's initial email did not include information about the carrier reliability and the carrier's insurance information. When I requested this information, David provided it for me promptly. I paid David the $225 broker fee via credit card, and my vehicle was picked up the next day by the carrier, Geo Tiger/NGDA trucking. The driver, George, was very nice and even stored my car for two days in CA without an additional fee. I picked up the vehicle in CA with no issues, and after washing the bugs off the rear windshield it was in the same condition as when it left NJ. I would use David as a broker again, and would highly recommend the carrier.
