Everything was smooth once the car was picked up, but getting to that point was extremely difficult and stressful. The 'deadline' for when I would receive carrier information (and a guarantee that my car would be picked up) was continually pushed back. I had to begin making contingency plans because 72 hours before leaving, I still had no carrier.

Hi Megan, Sorry to stress you out, but as we said from the beginning, you can't use terms like 'deadlines' and 'guarantees' in the wonderful world of car shipping. Note to future movers - be a little flexible (read: realize all dates are estimates) and your whole move will go smoothly, be rigid and you *might* watch your 'deadlines' come and go and be right back here to vent. (Think: tree in the wind, Grasshopper)
