To be fair to all, I had never done a car shipment so I was not sure what to expect. I liked the reviews for Safe Car Direct and finally gave them a call. The only hiccup was a bit of phone tag back and forth but that was as much my fault as theirs. Once we got it rolling, everything was very straightforward. The offer went out to the carriers and although the bid came in at $50 more than expected, we were told of it at the time and given the option to decline.
We went forward and the car was picked up on time. The original estimate was 6 days from Lake Geneva to Los Angeles but 3 days later I got a call from the driver saying that he was about 8 hours away. We arranged a place to meet near where many of the car dealerships are stationed. The car was dirty but that was expected as he had driven through some of the horrible weather in the Midwest and the car was exposed. The driver couldn't have been nicer and we handed him the check and headed to the car wash!
Overall a very nice experience. I'd use these guys again without question. Thanks again! Highly recommended.
