Delayed - but not too bad

I needed my car moved from IL to CA. It took several days for a carrier to be found and after my "bid" was increased by $50, someone picked it up right away - I would have rather had it picked up sooner instead of waiting for so long, especially for only $50.

The car was supposed to be picked up on a Friday, but I received a call from the carrier that his truck broke down and the pickup date turned into Saturday, then Sunday, and it was finally picked up on Monday, AT 10:00PM! I was assured by the driver that he would still be able to get it to me in CA by the date I was told - which he did, but again, he dropped the vehicle off at night after 7:00PM.

Other than the delay, it was a fairly easy process. Chris from Safe-Direct was very good - called me back, sent me emails, answered all my questions. It was nice to not have to go through an automated answerering service everytime I had a question.

If you're not in a hurry and don't have firm deadlines for pickup and deliver AND you don't mind the driver showing up at 10PM, its a good way to move a vehicle.
