When I was faced with the task of getting a car from one coast to the other, I was a bit overwhelmed and a little anxious. I knew someone had to do that for a living, but I had never needed to know who, until now.

Well, I did my research and looked up countless companies, reviews, etc. Safe-Direct was the only company I stumbled across to have almost all positive reviews and ratings on all sites. I'll admit I was a little skeptical, but my experience of shipping a car with Safe-Direct has made me a believer!

One thing to know, if you don't already, is that Safe-Direct is a broker for auto shipping companies. They do not own trucks, they don't have drivers, they merely exist to set up the deal between you and the shipper (who usually don't bother with the likes of the general public, and for good reason). I have read some negative reviews here and there with multiple shipping services/brokers about damage to the vehicle, the car being really dirty, etc. This has little to do with Safe-Direct's business since all they did was broker the deal. The shipping process and the condition of the car is all on the shipper/driver.

In my case, my request was filled within a couple days of putting it up on some sort of national auto shipping job board (which every single registered auto shipping company can see and access). The driver was very communicative, even when he arrived a day later than he had first estimated, and kept in touch with me throughout the whole process up until the pickup date which was a couple days earlier than originally quoted. The car was delivered unharmed and a little dirty, but what do you expect after a trip across the entire country?

All in all, my experience was fantastic shipping a car with Safe-Direct. When/if I ever need to ship another car for any reason, they'll be the first place I call.
