I shipped my car from a suburb of New York City to Los Angeles and Tom from Safe-Direct did a great job.
He was very organized, detailed and I could tell he had much experience doing what he does. I made first contact about 2 weeks before I wanted the car shipped and when he said he would send the info, he sent it, and when he said he would be back in touch with what carrier he booked, he got back in touch. He followed up and was on it. Obviously we all want the shortest transport time, and I was no different as I had a rental car there burning money while I waited on my car. Tom found a carrier that was only taking cars from NY to LA, reducing the transport time. The car carrier arrived in NY late Monday afternoon to pickup, and the car was in my driveway Thursday evening! I was not there to meet the car and I never thought it would get there early so I was pleasantly surprised Friday AM when I learned it was already delivered. The carrier he found was great, very professional, polite guys with a clean truck and delivery service to my door so my wife wouldn't have to meet them in some parking lot while the two kids go crazy in the backseat. The car arrived a little dirty (standard for open carrier), but there was no damage whatsoever. Total cost was $1,290 and was well worth it. I have shipped a car 3 other times and none of those experiences was even close to the perfection of this one. An excellent experience, I will call Tom at Safe-Direct again and STRONGLY recommend him to anyone shipping a vehicle.
