Excellent experience with Tom at Safe-Direct

Safe-Direct has the best website to truly understand the business of auto shipping and the roles of brokers and carriers. I recommend you review the info and videos on this site even if you don't choose them. I got a rough idea of cost from reading Transport Reviews, got a few email quotes, and then went with Safe-Direct when they were in the ball park. They weren't the lowest estimate, but the lowest estimates in this business typically gets negotiated up as it becomes difficult for the broker to find a carrier for that fee. I didn't want bickering and delays; I wanted my car shipped quickly at a fair price for all. I worked with Tom at Safe-Direct who was highly professional in both emails and phone conversations. We agreed on a price on 10/25 and he called back to let me know that a carrier was assigned on 10/26. My credit card was not billed for his fee until that carrier was assigned. The assigned carrier was equally professional, and came for my Camry precisely on time on 10/28. The car arrived in California in the same shape it left 5 days later. There was great communication on that end as well. All in all, Tom at Safe-Direct gave me exactly what I wanted - highly professional service, no hassles, connection with a very reliable carrier, quick pick-up/delivery, great communication on both ends. I would definitely use them again.
