I was not optimistic about finding a good company to ship my car with. I have only heard bad experiences from my friends who have shipped their cars cross country. Safe-Direct, however, couldn't have been better. Even while compiling quotes I found Safe-direct's website to be the most informative and honest about what to expect and what to consider when shipping your car. Once I called to book the move, I didn't have to worry about any other detail because they took care of everything efficiently. My car was picked up on the exact day I requested, even 20 minutes early. During the week I called the carrier to check on status and learned where my car was along the way. Then my car was delivered , undamaged, the day I requested it to be delivered. I paid $940 flat with no extra/hidden costs to shop my Volvo from CA to MA. I was pleasantly surprised that there were no surprises or disappointments with the whole process. I will recommend Safe-Direct to others and use them again when I head back west.
