Our son James is in the US Army and recently returned home for a month long leave to Pennsylvania from a year in Afghanistan. While stationed in Afghanistan he searched the local car ads on line looking for his dream car, an 80's Olds Cutlass Supreme. After many calls and emails home and fruitless visits to the fields and backyards of the surrounding counties by his dad, the dream car was purchased with out James ever actually seeing it in person or driving it! Needless to say he was more than anxious to get home to PA and drive that car.
After 30 days of driving the Olds he could not leave it behind and had orders that took him back to Ft.Hood Texas. With no time left to drive it back to Texas we needed to have it shipped to him. So began the search for a reputable shipping company.
The first company we called, took forever to answer our emails and calls. Once we had contact they demanded a deposit and then tried to charge the entire fee to our Debit Card. They never answered there phone or any of the messages we left, finally they called us wondering why they could not charge the fee to our card at that point we cancelled.
After trying many other companies and either being quoted an outrageous price or just being ignored we tried Honesty First Auto Transport within minutes we got a phone call from Tom who explained the process in detail. We were quoted a reasonable price and warned that it may take a bit to find a carrier as we were "off the beaten trail". Within two days Tom called and informed us that a carrier was found and that the car could be picked up the next day and would be in Texas by the end of the next week!
Mr Sanman Trucking was our carrier, and put us at ease as we handed over the car. He had delivered vehicles to Army Posts before and was familiar with the process. We are more than thankful for the courteous service we received. We appreciate the communication and fast service by everyone involved. Thank you for getting our son his car safely and quickly so he can enjoy it!
