In an industry that's often frustrating for the consumer, Ellen is exceptional. I've purchased my last 3 vehicles long distance and had them shipped so I know how the shipping thing works. There are no promises and no guarantees...EVER...regardless of what you're told. The broker is ultimately at the mercy of the carrier and your best bet navigating these waters is to find an excellent broker with good relationships with carriers and who know the carriers well enough to be reasonably assured of what will happen. Ellen fully disclosed that while she could not guarantee me a pickup the day I wanted, she was reasonably sure she could make it happen and pledged her best to get it done. She got it done, and my delivery was a day early coming from Miami to MA. Driver was supercool and polite and had great communication. Ellen's communication was stellar also. No missed pickup...no "mechanical breakdowns"...my car was not left in a terminal for a weekend in between carriers...every text and email was returned promptly. It was exactly what it was supposed to be...and then some, because my car got here a day early. I used them for a scheduled pickup versus using the same day app so I can't comment on that functionality, but if it runs as well as the scheduled pickup you'll be in good hands. Price was mid-pack which is actually a bargain for Ellen's level of service.
