SG Carriers; BAD BUSINESS, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY BAD QUOTES
They lure you in with a cheap quote only to have it changed, then all Al says is read the contract. PLEASE if you read this never use this business. If you see positive post about this business its only because they wrote them.

I offered the company an opportunity to resolve my complaint, but they never responded, so I felt compelled to let teh public know about SG CARRIERS business plan.

It’s important not to send an email when you are mad; therefore I took some time to think before I wrote this. This is how I got cheated out of $460. After I put in my request on 18 December 2012 for a vehicle pick up on 27 December, I received a call from Stephanie after I put in the initial request, she immediately quoted me $310 and gave me a $20 discount since I was in the military serving in Korea. I told her that’s a good price, are you sure it won’t change? Her reply was “no sir our prices will not change and we ship vehicles like this all the time.” After asking additional questions, we decided to make a deal. She sent the contract along with $310 payment; I signed it and sent it back. Never talked to her again.

Three days later I called to verify my vehicle will be picked up, spoke to a character names “Al” yes just “Al.” Al said the vehicle will be picked up on the 27 Dec, and I received and email from Stephanie saying they never received the contract. Keep in mind this is three days later. So I sent it again from another email and I called to see if they got it and he said yes and this time he told me the vehicle will be picked up on 28 Dec. I told him, it would have been nice to get a call or email to let me know the vehicle will be picked up late, and that’s when I went into my spill about customer service and how to treat people. Al, said “sir I have been doing this for 25 years, I know what I am doing,” I told him “Al I can do this (tell you how to treat customers) now or I can put it out over the internet on how bad your business is. Then he goes one to say let’s just cancel the shipping, he quickly recanted his story and said, “I tell you what we will get the vehicle shipped out soon.

I called again on 26 Dec, at this time he said the vehicle will not ship on the 28th, but on 29th, ok, a couple days off, not too bad, I called again on 29 Dec and he said won’t be picked up until after New Year on 2 Jan. At this time I have already given him my money, so getting mad because he is 5 days late on pick up is no good. After calling again on 2 Dec, he said the driver will notify me 12-24 hours prior to picking up the vehicle, ok. I called again and he said the vehicle will not be picked up until 7 January. At this time I asked for the driver number and he gave it to me therefore I started communicating with the driver. The driver said he would not be able to get there until 8 Jan and deliver on 9 Jan.

So on 8 Jan (the day of pick up), I received and email from SG Carriers stating I need to pay $300 on top of the $310 I have already paid, oh and the email stated at the bottom “You will respond to this email one way or the other.” Al said the carrier requested more money. Ok so what am I to do? I am trying to get the vehicle moved therefore I am at the mercy of the SG Carriers and Al. So the money was due at the time the driver delivers the vehicle. When the driver delivers the vehicle he said its $460 I have to pay, not $300. The driver said the broker only paid $140. Once again I am at the mercy of the driver. So my total from this delivery was $770. I called Al, and Al said “its in the contract.”

And Al, if you are reading this, since you questioned me about defending my country, if you ever knew the aggression from North Korea, then you will know I defend this country foreign and domestic working on the front lines of the DMZ border of North Korea staring in the eyes of the 4th largest Army in the world.
