Called Michael at RBRA and was given a quote of $600 for door to door transport from Las Vegas to Omaha. Driver would not pick up car at my home and did not deliver to address as agreed. Driver stated the COD was $800 at time of delivery and at no time from the original estimate was an increase in cost mentioned. No COD amount stated on the inspection report and no contact from the hauler or RBRA. I contacted Michael by internet and left a phone message, with only a short e-mail reply stating I should take it up with the hauler and the quote given was an estimate. The total was $1000 for a $600 estimate with lousy service and no 24/7 365 customer service from Michael. I was not contacted and advised of the actual cost as required in the terms of the contract or the car would have never been shipped with RBRT That works out to be 200% to the hauler and 166% of the quote.The hauling conmpany MON TRANS INC states they have a contract with RBRT for $800 and tells me to contact the broker, and the car will be put into storage at my cost until this is worked out. By the way, nobody is able to contact RBRT during the transaction between the hauler and the person taking delivery, missing in action. This is not the first time I haved moved a vehicle by transport, but by far the most dishonest and stressful encounter I have had. RBRT is the link between the hauler and the customer and their 5 star rating cannot be a true customer evaluation. The hauler has a contract with RBRT for $800, but states they will not discuss it with me. Bottom line is poor service, deceptive pricing and not stating the actual cost of doing business with them. I have read the response to other people who have not been happy with their bussiness practices, and I would have to disagree with the response from RBRT. RBRT was the cheapest rate, but the most expensive cost at the end. I had more than 10 companys state the cost, and none of the others would have been higher in the end.
