I will admit, some of the reviews on google for RoadRunner had me VERY concerned, but they were the least expensive by several hundred dollars and they were the most responsive with live people. I received my 1st quote and was a bit taken back when the sales rep quoted my about $90 more. The justification is that the auto generated quote is a close ballpark, but lacking route details. I was okay paying the extra $$ as RoadRunner was still the least expensive by several hundred. As far as scheduling goes, you need to understand that pickup and delivery are reliant on several factors, the largest being other customers scheduled for pickup/dropoff ahead of you and the drivers required rest periods. Each one of those customer interactions can take several hours, The driver cannot simply reroute to another customer in order to stay on track when one customer can't make the time constraints work...the driver just sits and waits...sometimes for hours while all of his scheduled appointments get pushed out. In my case the driver was on track to pickup on the scheduled day, but asked if he could pickup the following morning as it would be easier. We agreed and all went smooth. I was surprised when he said it would be delivered in 5 days... keep in mind these guys are picking up and dropping off vehicles all along the way..so 5 days to make a 36 hour drive and receive/drop off 17 vehicles or more is pretty quick. In my case, the driver was going to be late on the 21st so I asked if we could just postpone until the morning of the 22nd, he agreed and everything went off without a hitch. From pickup to delivery, communications were good, and there were no issues with the vehicle.
