I think most people don't understand that they are calling a broker, not some sort of dispatcher to come get your vehicle. I believe most of these services are brokers, and that's completely understandable since most people aren't going to hunt down trucking dispatchers for availability and pricing. If you understand that firstly, you will have the right expectations.
I have used RoadRunner about 4 times, each time they were able to get me a truck pretty quick and they were easy to get a hold of online or over the phone. I think they are one of the best because they follow up, they are easy to use online, and they will answer questions when you ask them. The trucks they haven gotten me seem to always be on time, and the drivers are usually pretty easy to work with. Don't get upset if you don't get your truck assigned ASAP - they aren't their trucks - remember they go and find you the first available at the lowest price possible. Good luck getting that same level of service from another Broker!
