Unable to move freight, will not honor their cancellation policy

I had a shipment ready to be picked up by them on 4/25/17 and their carrier canceled on me. The driver never showed. In speaking with Gloria from customer service on 4/26/17, she told me that they were not able to find another carrier. I needed to get to the car to WA and could not wait for them to figure it out. I was within the cancellation window to cancel without penalty, so I cancelled it. I was even told by their customer service department via phone that I could cancel without penalty. On 4/27/17, they called me and "miraculously" found another carrier – after I had already cancelled.
Now they are charging me $200.00 for the cancellation.

This is a company that is not following their own policy and obviously has customer service issues. I would suggest avoiding doing business with them.
I had to use another car carrier (Montway) and they were able to help us. They picked up the car on 4/28/17 and will deliver it on the 30th.

In the transport industry we are sometimes susceptible to carrier cancellations due to circumstances that are out of our control. When this occurs we kindly ask that our customers have patience as we locate a new carrier for your route. In your specific case we were able to locate another carrier within a day however you decided to cancel. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience. Please note you have since been refunded in FULL and were NOT charged any cancellation fee it may just take a few days for the transaction to appear on your account.
