Don't Use Rite-Way

Contracted with Rite-Way on Oct 6, 2010 from florida to California. The rep Will Meyer knew my customer was leaving for Asia on the 15th of Ocober at 1:00 pm, the unit just had to be shipped not delivered before he left. After being assured it would leave promptly, it never did. Day after day I was told it takes a little more money and it will go, it didn't. I was then told he will bump an Avalanche and send my unit instead for another $100.00 , he didn't.

The day of my deadline Will Meyer said he just got in and will call me back , he didn't. In fact I have not heard from him since , he was ducking my calls all day.

I contacted Five Star Transportation 2 hours before my deadline hoping for anything. They not only got a driver on the way within 1 hour, but also had the drivers name, phone number and insurance information , all within an hour.

Rite-Way has now charged my credit card $140.00 3 days after the vehicle has left. I have never heard from them nor have they ever dispatched a truck. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS !!!
