Refunding of Deposit

Single worst customer experience.

This seems to be one of the few transport companies that charge a deposit before the car is picked up.

I placed the order 5/11 with sales rep.

After being told several possible days for pickup and trucks in the area I get an email 5/20 ( mind you I was told 5 days in that span that it would be picked up) telling me it still wasnt picked up. I canceled the order. Upon cancellation the deposit should have been refunded, I checked to see if it had been refunded to my bank. It hadnt been refunded. I called and after being routed around to voice mails I finally got to talk with someone that I assume is the owner. He said it would be processed that evening and would show up Mon or Tues. It is now Wed and it hasnt showed up. The excuse that it takes a fwe days to process is generally just that, an excuse. It just so happens I got a refund from a returned product the day I returned it so I am generally well aware of the length of time it takes my bank to process these transactions. As I am writing this review and after placing a complaint with the BBB I have finally received and email in regards to my refund. I called and was told the refund was 'processed' Friday and that it would take a few days. I have requested a receipt for proof that the refund was processed and will continue to do so until the refund is in my bank.

I have not felt that anything about this ordeal with this company was customer service oriented since from the very start when the order was placed it was difficult to get the correct phone numbers to contact the specific departments and there was very little communication available.

In the days that have followed I was fortunate to find a different company suggested by a friend and have had none of these troubles. Easy contact info, quickly returned calls and followups as well as detailed info from the pick up that took has been almost immediate and a very low deposit was taken only upon actual pick up of the vehicle to avoid this hassle.
