I submitted a few queries online in order to receive price quotes on shipping my Toyota Tacoma from Oregon to Virginia. I was bombarded by quotes from dozens of brokers. However, after searching for reviews online and with the BBB, I decided to go with Red Carpet Auto Transport. My order number was 5076956 and the price to ship my vehicle was $1,200. This included the broker fee and what I paid the carrier upon delivery. In my opinion, the was an excellent price since I would have spent more than that flying out to Oregon and driving back the car myself.

Heather Richardson from Red Carpet Auto Transport responded to my email within minutes of me contacting her. Further, each time I emailed her, I received an email back almost immediately. Each time I called her to inquire about changes in the pickup and delivery dates, she was always available, or called me back within several minutes. Heather's dedication to keeping the customer informed of any changes is amazing and she is an expert at customer service.

My vehicle was supposed to be picked up on a Saturday (16 April). However, the carrier experienced some mechanical trouble with this trailer and some changes in his pickups of other vehicles. As a result, my actual pickup date occured 5 days later (21 April). I was a little nervous that this might drastically change the estimated arrival date (26 April), but it did not. My vehicle arrived only one day after the estimated arrival date. I realize that all of the dates for pickup and delivery are estimates, and having worked in the logistics world myself, I understand when dates get bumped around a little. Throughout the entire process, Heather Richardson kept me informed and I never felt out of the loop. She kept in close contact with the carrier to ensure I was aware of his location whenever I requested it. Most importantly, Heather found me a carrier that was able to get my vehicle to me when I needed it most and for a reasonable price.

This was my first experience shipping a vehicle. If I ever need to ship another vehicle across the country, I will definately use Red Carpet Auto Transport. Further, I will recommend Red Carpet Auto Transport, and Heather Richardson in particular, to all of my friends and family that are shipping a vehicle as well.

Not all transports go smoothly so I think it is very important to make sure everyone is "in the loop" during the transport process. I'm glad to know you felt informed throughout the process.
