Relocating a household across country is no small task. Unfortunately it is something that I have suffered far too many times as I followed my career goals from Massachusetts to California to Oregon to California to Oregon a second time, and then to Washington and now to our final destination; Texas. All but the last moves were corporate relocations where someone else takes care of all the details concerning the movement of household goods, and current automobiles were either sold at the vacating location and purchased new at the destination. On one occasion the family and dogs all drove between California and Oregon. A solid oath was taken at the end of that trip to never attempt anything as crazy as that was again. So that led us to hiring an auto transport company on the next move back to California, and that led to another oath that was just broken. The transport of our auto from Oregon to California was such as disaster I pledge to never, ever trust the family autos to an auto transportation company. But now in order to get to our retirement location in Sun City Texas I had to throw caution to the wind and take my chances. I did as much research as I could, well in advance of the moving date, screened as many companies that I could find to screen, read all the reviews I could find and finally made a decision with all my fingers crossed.

Once I was assured that Red Carper Auto Transport would take care of my cars and deliver on time, I hounded their representative Felicia B until she knew me by the sound of my voice. All the while she assured me that my cars would be safe, and yes they will get picked up when promised, and no i wouldn't have to leave them behind. And, true to her word, on the given day at the appointed hour, my cars were picked up and hauled away after a very through and careful inspection by the driver and I.

Now all I had to do was get to Texas, wait about a week, and say a few prayers for the safety of the driver on his cross country journey. And if in case God had any spare time he could look in on my cars to be sure that they too were on a safe journey. One week later, exactly seven days as promised I met the driver one block from my new home in Texas to claim my cars without a scratch on them that wasn't there before they left Camas Washington. On time, as promised, no problem.

I guess if I had to find fault, I'd complain that the driver should have driven his truck load of cars, he still had three more to deliver after mine, through the car wash before delivery. Therefore one can surmise that the service and customer care I received from Red Carpet was really Red Carpet service. No problems from start to finish.
