This whole delivery was a nightmare. They used a rinky dink outfit from Panama City Fla. My truck was delivered with grease marks on the drivers seat. 1/2 tank of gas used and 154 miles put on odometer from time of pickup. There were scuff marks on the rear drivers door as if someone slept in the back of the truck. I was told the truck would be there late Thursday night. It got there at 2:20 PM Saturday afternoon. I was told from Thursday that the truck would arrive late Thursday night, it didn't. Then mid morning Friday, it didn't. Then Friday evening, it didn't. The driver told me he broke down with 2 flat tires. Maybe he used my truck to get his tires fixed because he told me he had to wait till 8am for the tire place to open. He said that he had grease on his pants that's how the grease got on my seat. I expected a professional transporter and I got a backyard goat rodeo. At 9:24 Friday night he asked me to meet him half way in Ct. which is 2 1/2 hours from my house one way. No way, I paid for door to door service. He shows up with flip flops on and a tee shirt that was 3 sizes too small, very unprofessional. A Dodge Ram 3500 with a ripped off bed converted to a fifth wheel. A car transporter hooked up to it that was definitely underated for the 3 vehicles he was carrying. A Mercedes Benz, a Ford F150 Lighting and my Dodge Ram 2500. No wonder he had two flat tires, overloaded. Obviously, Red Carpet did not do a good job of screening their sub contractors. I called my rep from Red Carpet 7 times on Saturday and never received a call back from her. I did get a call from Red Carpet dispatch Saturday afternoon and knew nothing of this fiascio. As of right now I still have not heard from my rep at Red Carpet. Took her fees and said see you later. I recommended another transport company.

Richard, I will check into this right away with the carrier. I talked to you Saturday night when you called me. You called and I called you back immediately. I have the phone records here in the system so I'm shocked that you would say that you called me 9 times and I never contacted you. You called once and I called right back You told me about the delivery issue. I called the carrier's office and he then called the driver. His office told me that he was sorry for the delay with the driver and that he would be there the next morning between 9-10am for delivery to your home. You never called me back and told me that there was a any other problem. We do not want this to happen to anyone so we need to know about this. We will of course contact the carrier and this is an absolute situation that has to be know in their records so this does not happen again. We will be talking to you and apologize for the event. Sincerely, Julie
